IT’S ADOPTION DAY!

Congratulations on choosing to save two lives! When you adopt, you are not only saving the animal you are adopting but you are making space for another animal to be saved. Please remember to bring a cat carrier with you when picking up your new pet. Collars and leashes are available for purchase at the Metro shelter.

The adoption fee for a cat or kitten is $150. All fees include:

• one free visit to an SPCA-participating veterinarian within two working days of adoption;
• "Shelter Care Pet Insurance" – 30 days of free coverage for accidents and illnesses common to shelter pets;
• Feline Leukemia test;
• flea treatment (Revolution);
• de-worming treatment (Strongit-T);
• first vaccine;
• microchip implanted and registered with 24-hour Pet Watch; and
• spay surgery (female) or neuter surgery (male).
