IT’S ADOPTION DAY!

Congratulations on choosing to save two lives! When you adopt, you are not only saving the animal you are adopting but you are making space for another animal to be saved. Please remember to bring a collar and leash with you when picking up your new pet. Gentle Leaders are available for purchase at the Metro shelter.

The adoption fee for a dog or puppy is $250. All fees include:

• one free visit to an SPCA-participating veterinarian within two working days of adoption;
• "Shelter Care Pet Insurance" – 30 days of free coverage for accidents and illnesses common to shelter pets;
• flea treatment (Revolution);
• de-worming treatment (Strongit-T);
• first vaccine;
• microchip implanted and registered with 24-hour Pet Watch; and
• spay surgery (female) or neuter surgery (male).
• one-month free "pet waste removal" provided by Scoopy-Poo.
